Dear Members, I M working with XYZ pvt ltd. as an asst. accounts manager and simultaneously doing CA Final. since i have income tax knowledge whether can my employer appoint me as his legal representative (LR) u/s. 288 of Income tax act. or only CA in Full time practice will be appointed as a Representative. Further I recently joined (in 2013) this XYZ Pvt ltd, this was HUF Business before 2012, which is take over by XYZ Pvt ltd during 2013. now i have to do representation with assessment of HUF of A.y. 2011-2012. but at that time a was not in employment with this HUF. so whether if Employee can also appointed u/s. 288, so whether only those employee can appoint who was in service during that particular A.y. of which assessment is going on. or current employee can also appointed as a LR. please reply
