How we will come to know that when P&L appropriation A/c is to be prepared?

In sole proprietorship,no need of profit/loss appropriation (distribution). So in Sole proprietorship business P/L appropriation a/c is not prepare. But in partnership or company, it is need of appropriat P/L. So in these business after prepraing of P/L A/c, P/L appropriation a/c is also prepared. Jay Gulani CA/MBA Account teacher.
