14 September 2014 Dear Sir,
I got Form 16 from my employer in which HRA & some other deduction is not mentioned.
So at the time of filing Income tax return can i take HRA deduction & other deduction which is not shown in Form 16.

Thanking you.....

14 September 2014 No. You can not claim HRA if it is not part of your Salary Structure.
Whether HRA is shown in your Salary Slip?

14 September 2014 Yes you can claim deduction from HRA i.e., Rent paid which were not claimed in form 16 (First of all you should be receipt of HRA) while filing the income tax return .

But you are ready to substantiate it by having prof like rent paid slips and all.

Other wise You can claim deduction u/s 80GG in your return if condition meet.

14 September 2014 First of all HRA should be part of your Salary i.e., It must be shown in your salary slip. Only then you can claim HRA deduction. So ensure that first.

14 September 2014 .........................
