A recipt book is an evidence of receipt , may be required in any legal battle . However , if you are receving by cheque , you have sufficient alternative evience of receipt .

There is no Mandatory. If you have kept two receipt books it will cumbersome in so many aspects. there should be a control on international customers. Their outstanding should not exceed more than 6 months. Otherwise RBI will question regarding this. Also if any deductions you may not avail non receipt of o/s from international customers with in 6 months. Better you collect bank advises from the bankers to make support the international receipt.

there is no hard and fast rule for this. making serialwise separately for domestic and international can help maintaining things and speedy follow up.
