What is the consequence of failing to deduct TDS on Rent for the F.Y. 2010-11 on amount of Rs.1,80,000/- p.m for the first 9 months? Is element of interest present in this case? Also, this amount of Rs.1,80,000/- is paid to 3 different assessees. How to give it accounting treatment?
