my Qualification B.Com, ICWA (Stage- I), 8 years experience in C.A. Firm from this qualification can i become tax consultant/professional accountant, is there any formality for registration

You have to file an applicatiion before the Commissioner of Commercial/Sales Tax,on a plain paper attached with copies of certificates of your qualification,age,adress and identification proof etc.There may be some fees like Rs200 or Rs500 to paid to the Commissoner by a treasurybank challan. You have to be B. Com for ITP (Income Tax Practitioner). For this you have to go through the provisions of section 288 and you have to apply in proper form. The form is as under
