Preparation of form 3cd as per revised schedule - vi

This query is : Resolved

07 August 2012 I have a doubt regarding preparation of Form 3CD Annexure of a public limited company the balance sheet of which is prepared as per Revised Schedule - VI. The 3CD annexure need to give the figures like Share Capital, Reserves & Surplus, Secured Loans etc. but my doubt is whether we should give these figures as per Revised Schedule - VI or not. For instance, the amount of Reserves & Surplus is Rs. -ve 5,00,000 after taking into consideration the P&L debit balance. But without taking the P&L debit balane it would have been Rs. +ve 10,00,000. So which figure should i report in the annexure, -ve 5,00,000 as per the Revised Schedule - VI or the figure +ve 10,00,000 presuming that no change has been made to IT Act, 1961 regarding Revised Schedule - VI?

Please help me whether any clarifications on this has been made by the institute...

07 August 2012 You have to mention the figure as per the Revised Schedule VI. That is because you have audited the financial statements prepared in accordance with the Revised Schedule VI.
