21 August 2014 Dear sir i have applied this formula, but i can not add 0 before this digit.

21 August 2014 its working fine at my system... alternatively, you set format to 0##,###,###,###.##

21 August 2014 just put ' before the digits it will work

21 August 2014 Agarwal Sir, that converts number into text and make computations impossible. that is why you need to format it as a number instead of text

22 August 2014 Go for ignore error option in the cell then.

22 August 2014 And what impact if it will be in text format, plz tell me

22 August 2014 in "'" option, you will have to manually put ' in every cell. In format format option, the formatting can be applied to whole of the workbook, sheet, particular row or column in a second. So it saves time.

22 August 2014 oh ok no technical problem time problem
