19 June 2014 Hi,

My firm is registered with PF recently. Although we are less than 20 members, we did registered for other reasons.

My query is : Since we are less than 20 in numbers, should we remit the pf for them ??

22 June 2014 If registered you have to remit and pay PF on a monthly basis.

Though do remember that for employees above Rs6500 / Rs10000 per month salary it is optional; after you take it in writing from these employees, if any.

Additionally, you will have to pay the Rs2+Rs5 each month in any case and file all the PF returns regularly.
