Notice u/s139(9) under code no. 31

28 November 2016 I am Tax consultant filed my client return income declared in the absence of regular books of account. and i put tick on "No" U/s 44AA. declared income in Column No. 53 of ITR 4 for Non maintenance of regular books of account. But Now we received a Notice U/s 139(9) under Code No. 31 to Fill the Balance sheet, P & L Account.
My question is already confirmed that there is no books of accounts. how can i filled the balance sheet, P&L account...........what can i do for this notice and how to i reply to this notice please kindly give your valuable suggestion to reply to this notice

28 November 2016 You have to fill other details Profit ,Expenses net profit and cash balance ,stock details etc and generate return 139(9) xml and upload new xml file.
