I have received a notice from income tax to send my bank account statements. However, it does not specify if i need to send only the bank statements for the accounts where i am the first account holder (tax accrued on me) OR all the bank accounts where i have a signing authority (tax did not accrue in my name). Do i have a choice to send only the ones where i am the first account holder? Please guide.

if you received any hard copy from it dept.(ward) then you have to give response. otherwise don't react on any fishing mail. I have also received many fishing mails but i didn't react on it.

It is a paper copy that i have received at my home address and includes my PAN no. Please guide whether to provide bank statements for the accounts where i am the first account holder (tax accrued on me) OR all the bank accounts where i have a signing authority (tax did not accrue in my name).

pls explain about your case, A.Y/F.Y details like your business/profession,salary on which you have received that notice...any important issue....afterthat i will recommended what to do ? refund/demand etc. etc...
