However, Assessee earns Rs. 20,000 per month and he also not disclosing this information to any employer. He files the return every year as nil return.
1. whether he is lible to tax?
2. if yes, what are the consequences faced by the assessee and employer?

18 July 2009 yes he liable to tax & return.

18 July 2009 1. yes he is liable to pay tax as he is earning more than the exemped limit.

2. No consequence to the employer as employee has not provided the information about the another employment income.

For Assessee, there will be only trouble in the future if his case is considered for scrutiny and it is proved.
