09 July 2024 If you have missed filing the MSME Form 1 (half-yearly return) for the period mentioned, here are the steps you can take to rectify the situation:

1. **Filing the MSME Form 1**: You should file the MSME Form 1 for the missed period as soon as possible. The form is used to furnish details of all outstanding dues to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as well as the reasons for any delays in payment beyond the agreed terms.

2. **Procedure for Filing**:
- Visit the MSME Ministry's official portal or the designated portal for filing MSME Form 1.
- Log in using your credentials (if you have already registered).
- Fill out the form accurately with the required details, including information on outstanding dues to MSEs.
- Submit the form electronically on the portal.

3. **Late Fee**: There may be a provision for late fees or penalties for delayed submission. Check the guidelines on the portal for any applicable penalties and ensure you pay them along with the submission of the form.

4. **Last Date for Submission**: The exact last date for submission of MSME Form 1 for the periodcan vary and may not be explicitly mentioned. It's essential to file it as soon as possible to avoid further penalties or non-compliance issues.

5. **Future Compliance**: Ensure that going forward, you file the MSME Form 1 within the stipulated time frames to avoid similar issues. Typically, MSME Form 1 needs to be filed twice a year: for the periods from April to September and October to March.

**Seek Professional Help**: If you are unsure about the process or need assistance, consider consulting with a professional such as a chartered accountant or a company secretary who can guide you through the filing process and ensure compliance.

By promptly filing the MSME Form 1 and paying any applicable late fees, you can rectify the missed submission and maintain compliance with MSME regulations.
