MBA vs CA

This query is : Resolved

07 July 2011 What is the difference between MBA and CA in order to do, salary, security of job, nature of work and oppurtunity to growth in career?

08 July 2011 Naveen,

It totally depends on the profile that you choose/get. If after completing CA you get a good job (which by my monetary definitons is above Rs 10 lacs)then not being an mba hardly matters.

But keep in mind that good MBA fin students have a very good chance of replacing you.

Security of job is only in government job not anywhere else. So that is not relevant in being CA/MBA.

Try to concentrate on whats at hand and you will succeed.

Praveen

08 July 2011 thank you for reply sir, i have a more question for u, an expert told me that targets are given by company to MBA degree holder whereas CA does not get target and CA is more securable than MBA. Please clear it.

08 July 2011 What sort of targets are you referring to?? If sales related, then it would be given to person who does sales, whether a CA or MBA doesnt matter.

And in general, targets are not set with qualification in mind, targets are given with profile in mind. If your job requires target setting, you will get them whether or not you are a CA or MBA or both or none
