Whether AOP is liable to deduct tax at source if it provides services only to its members and does not carry out any commercial activity.
It also claims exemption from income tax on the basis of mutuality.

AOP is still liable to deduct tax as the TDS provisions are applicable on the payments which are going to become income of the payee. .
