somebody plz explain service tax levied on client of j & k , & service tax levied from client of j &'k .
wat does d rule say ??

Service tax is a destination based tax . If a person from Maharashtra provides services to a person in J& K then the same is exempt.
But if a person from J&K provides services to person in Maharashtra then the same will be taxable .
If Consumption of Services is in Jammu and Kashmir then the same will be exempt
But if a person from J&K provides services to person in Maharashtra then the same will be taxable .
If Consumption of Services is in Jammu and Kashmir then the same will be exempt
