In Mumbai, what are your chances of getting into a good firm (Big Four) for articleship if you take 3 attempts to clear IPCC?

Supposing you take 3 attempts to clear IPCC; can you still get enrolled at one of the Big 4 for the articleship considering the competition in Mumbai. Do you know about any real life example? Thanks a lot.
