My current employer is demanding investment proofs from me which I claimed with my previous employer. According to me when I am not claiming deduction with my current employer for Investment they should not ask for me about the same. kindly reply in hurry because it is March end otherwise they will deduct tax on my investments also which I claimed with my previous employer. kindly also mention any rule or case law in this regard

You can give the tds certificate from your previous employer to satisfy your present employer.
If you are not claiming any deduction from your present employer then tax will be computed and deducted on whatever salary the present employer is giving. So there should not be any problem for you. However if he is considering the salary received by you from previous employer and then computing tax/tds then you should submit the copy of investments or TDS certificate of previous employer.

I have given them salary certificate of previous employer in which it is stated that I have claimed deduction on Investment from previous employer. The proof of same I have already submitted to previous employer, than why I need to submit it to present employer

You need not submit any proof to the current employer. Try to get the form 16 from the previous employer , which is sufficient evidence stating that u have submitted the proof of various investments.
