Hello I have completed my chartered accountancy in may 2012 (in first attempt) and wish to take up investment banking as my career. My internship is from a very reputed firm in New Delhi wherein i handled various internal audits. I don't have any work experience for investment banking as such. Shall I pursue any further studies for the same like MBA or CFA? What shall be my exact course of action for the same? Also, shall I start my job with the big 4 CA firms for investment banking. Please help.
To pursue a career in Investment Banking, CFA is the most recommended qualification you can have. Based on you CA qualification, you can join any company which offers you Investment Banking Profile and simultaneously you can pursue CFA as it will take at least 2 years of your time.
