Dear All,
We are providers of renting of immovable property with 15 % tax including both cess. we are collected tax and payed 15th day of December.how much is the interest i have to pay to department. 15 % or 24 %?

Collection of any amount as service tax but failing to
pay the amount so collected to the credit of the
Central Government on or before the date on which
such payment becomes due- 24% p.a.
Other than 15% p.a.
