09 November 2014 Dear Sir/Madam

I have a lot of questions that I just am not able to find answers to!

1- Does FOR (Free on Rail) include VAT levied on goods? In this case I am asking for Builders Hardware like Handles and hinges made of metals like Brass or Stainless Steel or Aluminum?

2- What is the use of CST?

3- What are the various road permits I require from transportation of goods from one state to the other?

4- What is the use of 'C' Form?

5- Which form am I supposed to get if I am operating as a trader and buying goods from manufacturer locally and supplying to others across India?

Assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

09 November 2014 1) VAT IS APPLICABLE TO THE MENTIONED PRODUCT

2) CST IS APPLICABLE WHEN YOU SALE OR PURCHASE GOODS FROM INTER STATE

3) WHEN YOU TRANSPORT GOODS THROUGH GOODS TRANSPORT AGENCY. YOU JUST HAVE TO BEAR TRANSPORTATION CHARGES, THEY WILL GIVE YOU LORRY RECEIPT.

4) C FORM IS USED FOR CONCESSIONAL RATE OF TAX FOR INTER STATE SALE

5) C FORM FOR INTER STATE SALE

10 November 2014 Sir

Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it.

Sir I am going to begin trading products from my city to different parts of India very soon. The products are basically builders hardware products.

We already have a firm registered with the sales tax. However it isn't, in anyway related to trading of hardware items. In fact it is a Bakery unit.

Sir can I begin to trade goods under that company and not get into hassle of registering yet another company?

Plus can you please assist me with the VAT applicable on the various products!

Assistance would be appreciated!
Regards
