I have filled manually return in 2009 for TDS refund Assessment period 2009-10 cheque was cancelled due to wrong account number. Account number was correct but one digit in account number was missed.Many times I have submitted applications in Income Tax department,but no response,now should I do??????

You must visit Concerned Income tax officer to find out the issue. If nothing is happening, file RTI application for status of Refund and copy of note sheets. Study them and take futher action

Enquire from your income tax officer that why the file has been transferred to CPC and told him that CPC is saying they have no record. Also if return is filed manually then there is no logic for sending the file to CPC. If your AO is not listening than file an online grievance to CBDT and ministry of finance and attach copies of correspondences exchanged on public grievance portal. In one of my relatives matter, demand was wrongly created in 2008-09 even though entire TDS was reflected in 26AS and refund for next years were adjusted in demand. ITO did not listen despite several letters and even PRO office of Income tax did not help. I filed online grievance through pg portal and the matter was solved within a period of 15-20 days and demand wrongly adjusted was not only rectified but also refunded back.
