Use appropriate IT challan No. ITNS.280 / 281 for paying Income tax / TDS thro cheque for different type of payment like Advance Tax (100), self assessment tax (300), tax on regular assessment (400) etc. Banker will issue acknowledgement for the same.
U need not to address anybody. Banker will remit the amount with IT authority.
