Hi Experts, I have completed my CA and CS and at the moment I am working as a Associate consultant in SAP FICO domain in one of the MNC. I planning to pursue IFRS certification but I am confused whether I should go for IFRS certification issued by ICAI or ACCA. Further whether this certification has any value addition or not in the present profile of mine. Please guide me on the same. Further if you have any other suggestion about the other courses that can benefit me in the current profile, then they are most welcome.
As a SAP consultant (I presume you are already in a large company), you are expected to understand the accounting part well and be able to deliver on customisation portion on the ERP. IFRS does support your knowledge better since it integrates a global accounting curriculum and offers details in complex accounting scenarios. You can visit www.avcls.com for specific information on IFRS by the ACCA.
