Hello, I need to show HRA proofs as I am planning to file IT returns. I don't see any fields for section 10 under ITR 1 form. Can anyone suggest how to do it??

Now what's the point in showing proof to employer since I already got form 16.. Now I am planning to file IT return and through that I want to claim for HRA but I don't see section in ITR 1 excel utility..

In ITR -1 there is no space for showing the allowance exemption, just you need to calculate your allowance exemption in your tax computation sheet and based on the tax computation just you need to fill the taxable salary only in the ITR -1 form. you need to keep the tax computation along with HRA & other proofs and need to submit on demand of Assessing officer at the time of Assessment only.
