I am working in a private institution. My parents lives in a rented house in a different city and I pay the rent of that house. Am I eligible for tax benefits for HRA?

Can you please share something like any notification so that I can show it to my organization. They are not giving me tax benefit on rent receipts of my parents' accommodation.
