Dear sir, Our newly start up company TIN & CST was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. We came to know the cancellation after receive the cancellation order form Joint Commissioner- TAX. We want to know the following; 1. Whether we must reactivate the TIN & GST before going to get the GST registration number (or) without reactivation shall we proceed directly to register GST. 2. For the reactivation, proprietor need to go directly to tax office to do the reaction process or any authorized person can do 3. During the cancellation period, shall we do business (buy & sell). Kindly give your valuable suggestion for the above mentioned queries to reactivate the TIN & CST then followed by to register GST process.

1. If you going new registration under GST. Then you don't want existing registration details if cancelled.
2. If you reactivate the cancelled RC going anyone.
3. No... Not available.
in case you did business also you ll be given details to state VAT Dept.... If they can reactivate the RC after you ll be show the details of business for cancellation period....
(Note: After GST above said RC is not available)

Dear sir, Thank you for your valuable comments. Since last 6 months we met DCTO, CTO, JC and request them to reactivate our TIN & CST. They said will do,but not yet done. Kindly suggest 1. Shall we proceed to do new registration under GST without reactivation of TIN & CST. If yes, what is the procedure to do new GST registration.

If Yes..... Then no more provisions for Reactivate the RC...! The above said Officers have no way for reactivate. So, Can't says to you directly. The only way of reactivate the VAT RC. You ll be file Case at court even posibility just 10% only...

What are the information need to give in as per the Page number 10 in the registration guide Registration type, Reg. No, Date of registration and Proof of constitution of Business. We have applied MSME (small scale industry) registration and Import Export Licence (IEC), but didn't import and export goods. If go with new GST registration it will affect our existing MSME and IEC licence or not? It could be great if you can share your contact number to get more details.
