A person can claim deduction u/s 80c for instalment paid to Co-operative society of which a person is a shareholder or member and the payment must be made towards cost of house property allotted to person.
Deduction u/s 24(b) can also be claimed for payment of interest on loan taken from Co-operative housing Society
