After April 1, 2019, the supply of TDR, FSI, long term lease (premium) of land by a landowner to a developer shall be exempt from tax if constructed flats are sold before issuance of completion certificate and tax is paid on them.
However, such exemption shall be withdrawn in case of flats sold after issue of completion certificate, and in that case the tax rate shall be 1% and 5% in case of affordable houses and other houses respectively
