A partnership firm formed for the construction of residential quarters( not intended for sale) and to let out for Rent after completion. Is liable to take GST registration ? Have any diffrence, in case of gst, is this building is a single one(apartment style)? or single , single quarters ? Thanks in advance for a quick reply....

Is the firm is registered under GST or not?
If the property (house) is let out for residential purpose then it's exempted GST not applicable...

OK thank you sir..I understood Residential renting is not taxable under gst. No Gst registration is not taken. Its only under planning stage.Only partnership agreement made.Request for PAN given. If we are giving contract to construction of building to a Contractor.Have any liability of Tax or any statutory liability from our part. Or materials purchased by us and construction contract is giving to a contractor, then? We can not take input? So which is the better option? For residential construction have any GST registration needed? Kindly give detailed reply
