No , You can not claim ITC on car purchased and provided for cab services on Uber against your OTHER BUSINESS . Credit is Blocked under section 17(5) In re Ms Narsingh Transport (AAR GST Madhya Pradesh) , The applicant ( registered as GTA ) desire the advance ruling on the subject that whether the GST paid on cars purchased & provided to their different customers on lease rent will be available to it as INPUT TAX CREDIT(ITC) in terms of Section 17(5) of Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017?
Two relevant points emerged in this AAR Ruling - (a) Car purchased for furtherance of business ( You are not in business of car rental and intend to use ITC from other business )
(b) The car, which the applicant intends to lease, should be registered with the transport authority in the capacity of commercial use.

As Per Section 17(5) "Motor vehicles and other conveyances except when they are used
a) For making further supply of such vehicles or conveyances b) Transportation of passengers c) Imparting training on driving, flying, navigating such vehicles or conveyances d) For transportation of goods." When i am giving my car on uber than it is using for transportation of passengers, then why I can not avail?
