Gst audit fees

19 December 2018 HI ALL, I want to know general that if any company's total turnover for the year is between 4 to 5 crore, what is the due date to file GST Annual return and what compliance's will be there. And also want to know the normal Audit fees charged by the GST Practitioner/Chartered Accountant.

19 December 2018 Due date to file GST Annual Return and Audit Report for FY 2017-18 has been extended to 31st March 2019. For Compliance, please refer Forms GSTR-9, 9A and 9C and Rule 80 of CGST Rules. Fee will depend on the volume and complexities involved. Turnover is not the sole criteria.

19 December 2018 Ministry of Finance by its Order No. 1/2018 - Central Tax ,dated 11th December, 2018 extend the due date of filing Annual Return from 31/12/2018 to 31/03/2019.

From Compliance point of view :
Compliance of GSTR 9 is Easy task. But there are lots of Compliance in GSTR 9C like:-
1) you have to reconcile your outward Supplies with financial statement which in many cases not able to reconcile due to various reasons.
2) you have to reconcile your Inward Supplies with financial statement .
3) You also have to provide the deatils of all expenses on which GST paid.
There are lots more issues which we will faced during GST Audits.

with reference to your query, charging of Audit Fees , its depends on case to case or complexities of Case.
Generally fees charged by the CA's is Minimum around Rs. 5000/- .

20 December 2018 Thanks for reply, As per compliance, i have to main concentrate in inward/outward supplies reconciliation. if i will reconciliation on monthly basis, it will be easy to file. Here i am having question regarding all expenses are not chargeable, some are not coming under GST, Can you please explain.

20 December 2018 One more things i want to know that the proprietor T/o is above/below 1.5 crore also has to file Annual return ?

20 December 2018 with reference to your first query :- you have to provide the details of all expenses on which GST paid and ITC claimed . I case you have any expenses on which no GST is paid then you have to simply mention the amount of expense.

With reference to your second query.
As per section 44 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) (hereafter in this Order referred to as the said Act) provides that every registered person, other than an Input Service Distributor, a person paying tax under section 51 or section 52, a casual taxable person and a non-resident taxable person, shall furnish an annual return for every financial year electronically in such form and manner as may be prescribed on or before the thirty-first day of December. following the end of such financial year;

Due Date extended( as discussed earlier) and Turnover is not a criteria for filing of Annual return.It is required to be filed by every registered person except above specified person.
