Pls tell me whether replacing of keyboard to be capitalised or it can be accounted as repairs and maintanance.
also provide me some referece supporting you view.

i think keyboard amt. is below Rs. 1000, it can be accounted as repair & maintanance and also computer exp. or misc. exp., it is not capitalised.

In my mind, replacing a key board does not give incremental benefit over previously assessed economic benefit in the ordinary course of business. And the individual cost of the asset would be mostly less than Rs. 5,000. So it would be left to the company even to capitalise it and depreciate fully in the year of installation.
