12 January 2012 One of my clients working for a trading concern and his salary is as below

12 months total salary 60,000/-
Provident Fund deducted 14400/-
conveyance allwoance 9200/-

Since with the above income he does have to pay IT the employer does not issue any certificate i.e. Form 16

But the same person after office hours brings some business for the same concern and is given commission on this and TDS @ 10% is deducted from this commission. and Form 16A issued to him
His total commission earned is 1,25,000/- Which Form I should use to file his returns Whether ITR 1 showing salary and income from other sources or ITR 4

12 January 2012 Commission earning activity is business and you should file ITR 4

You can file ITR1 for salary income and in that form u can add income from other sources (commission) of Rs 125000.

09 February 2012 three different answers 4s,4 and itr1 ??? which one is correct? which is to be considered. Is there any chance of refusing itr in case of wrong form? whom to contact for this?
