Hi!

I am Sanjay Gupta from "City of Joy - Kolkata". I have completed ICWA, M.Com, CS, DIM and currently pursuing MBA. Presently i am working for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Barrackpore Division as a Dy. Manager (Finance). Prior to this, for last 3 years i worked for "West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd" as Officer On Special Duty and before that for 3.5 years i worked for "Jekay Group of Companies" as Manager (F & A).

I am a part of caclubindia Family to share whatever knowledge i have and also to enhance my own knowledge. We all learn something everyday, because education never ends be it in school, college, institutions or in Journey of Life.

sir, in a listed company the post of CFO is held by the father and post of CS is held by the son n they have no other direct interest in the company, is there stand any problem?

harinder says : SERVICE TAX RELATED TO PREVIOUS YEAR
we have paid service tax for 2009-2010 in dec-2013. We are unable to show this amount in ST-3 for oct-2013 to mar-2014. Pl help me Thnx and regards Harinder Kumar

Dear Sir/Madam I am registered for Articleship training with effect from 1 Oct 2011 after passing IPCC 1st group. Now i have passed 2nd group of IPCC also. After that I properly registered myself for CA final course. But now I filled wrongly the examination form for June 2014 Exams. On the 19th April 2014 i got a letter from Institute. In the letter it is informed to me that...."you have been provisionally admitted to CA Final Exams may 2014.On the scrutiny of your application form it is observed that you are undergoing the article training serving last six months as on 1st May 2014 and due to complete 3 years of training on or before 31 October 2014.The institute in the letter also said that..."the condition of being in service as on 1st May 2014,is not applicable in respect of such students whose May,2014 is the first eligible/Permissible attempt as the case may be i.e. on or before 31-10-2014(i.e. the examination in which a student shall become eligible to appear in the Final Examination for the first time only but not thereafter) My Queries: 1.) I found that my actual eligible first attempt is November 2014? By mistake i filled wrong examination form for May 2014 exams regarding this case. Should i need to appear in May 2014 exams or not? 2.) What other things should i do to get rid of this situation?

Dear sir,I filled by mistake wrong Examination form for May 2014 CA final Exams. Actually my first CA Final Attempt is held on Nov2014.I got a letter from institute,they allow me to appear Provisinally in may 2014 exams. The condition to give exams in last six months was wrongly calculated by me.My article traning starts from 1st oct 2011(IPCC).What are the remedies for me and should I appear in may 2014 exams?
