12 September 2009 Q.1 An excel file has eight sheets and each sheet contains total amount in numeric. i want to sum of all eight sheets in a new sheet by using an excel formula.

please let me know the formula by which i can summation grand total.

Q.2 i have seen in a excel formula the symbol '^' is used as a part of that formula.
what calculation is possible by using this?

Q.3 what is an array formula?


please help me by answering the above questions.

13 September 2009 Q1- You hav to do =Sum(go to sheet 1 sellect range & close with )then +again sum(sheet 2 range )+........enter

Q2- for summation of sum data use subtotal fist for all subtotal & grand total ( subtotal(9,data range)eter

Q3 ^ is used for computing nth power eg 10*10 is 10^2
