Hi Experts Please explain whether the contribution by employer of a State Govt employee to be added with salaries for Income Tax calculation for AY 2016-17

Yes it is added and deduction for the same can be taken U/s 80CCD(2) (which does not exceed 10% of Basic salary and DA within the terms of employment.)
