Employer contribution to p.f.

25 September 2013 how much be employer's contribution to P.F. if basic pay of employee is 20000 p.m. should it be
1)20000*12%=2400 OR
2)6500*10%=650 OR
3)20000*10%=2000



please reply soon.

25 September 2013 The employer contribution is 12%, + edli & Admn chgs 1.61% together.

Further, its depends on the company's policy that on which amount they want to contribute PF.

i.e. either on the ceiling amount (which is 6500/-) or on the total basic amount (Rs. 20000/- in ur case)
