I am a trader under proprietorship. I buy the steel product and sell them to my party. The distance covers only 15 km and the value of product exceeds Rs.50,000/-.
Q.No. 1: Should I issue the e-way bill ? Q.No.2: Can I direct my seller to put the delivery address in invoice and deliver the same to my party with his e-way bill? If it is possible, Later, I also issue sale bill to the buyer. Again, should I issue my e-way bill to the party?

1. You should generate Way Bill for every consignment exceeding the limits and as per law required.
2. You can also your seller to directly dispatch the material via Bill to Ship to method but in this case chances are there that your dealer can get the actual invoice raised by your seller to you and can know the rates of products and services.
Here what you can do is you prepare a Sales Invoice showing seller name and address from which goods are being dispatched and delivery billed being your customers name and address. Send this Sales Invoice alongwith Way to your seller to be handed over to the transporter at the time of dispatch of materials from seller place to directly your customers.
