HELLO SIR, I AM A GROWING TAX CONSULTANT. ONE CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEE ASKED ME TO FILE HIS IT RETURN ONLINE. I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR E-FILING GOVT EMPLOYEE SALARY DETAILS. THANK YOU

No special procedure of efiling of govt.employee. 1.Register at incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. 2.Activate the link sent at the email. 3.Download a copy of ITR-1(excel utility). 4.Fill the utility and generate xml. 5.Login at website. 6.Upload the xml and ITR V would be generated. 7.Send it to Banglore address within 120 days from filing the ITR.
