12 September 2012 Our client is a private limited company. The client has approached us now for filing of return, but they don't have digital signature. can a chartered accountant put his digital signature for the filing of return? how?is there any process for authorizing CA for that? and also can a CA's DSC be used for fling of individual/ huf/ partnership firm requiring DSC to file return?

For a company directors digital signature can be used only and not of CA. The is no process for authorising such a thing.
