Deduction of lic premium & tution fees

27 August 2013 My Client has paid one time premium for 10 year policy in f.y. 2011-12. But he has not claimed deduction of the same in return for a.y 2012-13. Can he claim deduction of the same while filling return for the a.y 2013-14?

Can he claim tution fees paid for his children paid in earlier years which were not claimed by him in return of respective a.y in a.y 2013-14?

Please guide.

27 August 2013 no deduction can be claimed only for that financial year in which amount for deduction has been paid......
