so can i claim total deduction in chapter vi rs.175000/-

04 February 2013 You can't deduction u/s80CCD because of the maximum limit under sections 80C,80CCC & 80CCD aggregate deduction allowable is Rs.100000 only. So you reached it at section 80C. in addition to 80C,80CCC & 80CCD deduction you can claim deduction under section 80D,80G,80GG,80E etc.... upto the maximum limit prescribed under such section(s).

So your eligibility for chapter VIA deductions is as follows:

1)U/S80C Rs.100000/-
2)U/s80D Rs.15000/-
3)U/s80CCD(2) Rs.10000/- Not eligible because maximum limit aggregate of sec 80C,80D & 80CCD is Rs.100000/- you already reached/
4)U/s 80G Rs.5000/- if it is permitted to as per section 80G(i.e assumed you eligible to claim 80G deduction and with in the limit of eligibility)
5)u/s80E Rs.45000/- you said you eligible for such deduction.

So your total deduction under chapter VIA is Rs.165000/-
