Hello Sir, My Client has been claimed deduction of donation of RS 200000/- in form 16 but actually is of Rs150000/- then whether i should take 150000/- or 2Lac in return. What r the consequenses if i take 2 lac can u give some related case laws for this, if claimed 2lac and responsibility is of employer

Incase any difference with your form 16 issued by your employer and actual, you can consider actual only. because the final tax liability will come on you only.if you claim false. if you take Rs.2 lakh deduction, while assessment if found Rs.1.50, then need to pay different tax with interest and penalty
Actually Employer can allow only 100% donation category under section 80G, other donations, they cannot allow, employee need to claim in return directly. so incase employer allows wrongly, then the difference of tax not deducted will be penalty for employer also
