13 January 2018 AS PER GST LAW WHAT IS CONSIGNMENT NOTE .

ARE CONSIGNMENT NOTE, BILL, LORRY RECEIPT ARE DIFFERENT .

PLEASE GUIDE.

13 January 2018 Consignment Note is a promise that the goods have been taken care by the transporter after submission of goods to transporter. The transporter will be responsible for the goods. Make sure such a promise is given in any receipt, then it can be considered as consignment note.

13 January 2018 Consignment note is a Document prepared by a consignor and countersigned by the carrier as a proof of receipt of consignment for delivery at the destination. Used as an alternative to bill of lading
