08 February 2011 My of my friends is to argue that an chatered accountant can sign tax audit file not exceeding 45 but one of the expert of caclub uploaded that it was 30 which is correct as with regard to current application.

28 February 2011 in the case of a Chartered Accountant in practice or a proprietary firm of
Chartered Accountant, 45 tax audit assignments, in a financial year,
whether in respect of corporate or non-corporate assesses.
(b) in the case of firm of Chartered Accountants in practice, 45 tax audit
assignments per partner in the firm, in a financial year, whether in
respect of corporate or non-corporate assesses.
