Section 86 Titling "NEW ISSUES OF SHARE CAPITAL TO BE ONLY OF TWO KINDS" after amendments made by Omitted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000 w.e.f. 13-12-2000.] provides that equity share capital of a company may have different dividend or voting right and except equity and preference share capital there is no other type of the share capital. Where as section 88 of the act has been Omitted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000 w.e.f. 13-12-2000. It had restricted the provision of section 86 and provided that equity share capital shall have no such difference.
