I wanted to know what's the difference between a bcom graduate working as a tax analyst and a chartered accountant working in the field of taxation

According to me Chartered Accountancy is a more reliable and trustworthy professional qualification from the point of view of client. Especially when a person is involved in finance related working. Scope of work in taxation is much more if you are a CA and accordingly experience and competency will be higher as compared to a graduate.

Agree with the expert as the chartered accountancy course requires expert study of the the Income Tax where as in B.com, just an overall glimpse is taught to the students. Hence a CA will always have an upper hand over a bcom graduate in case of Tax analyst
