13 September 2016 while we are filing return online browser will not ask for any proof for claiming deductions , if we claim dummy deductions how income tax department will come to know and what are the consequences

13 September 2016 Income tax return is the DECLARATION by the asseessee. If the declaration proves out to be FALSE, it is liable for punishment which may extend to imprisonment.
