Hi, We have a 2 manufacturing units. We have claim the head office service tax input credit in units. My some input credit is pending from march-14. Please advice, can we claim the input credit more than 6 months or not. Parvinder Singh 9910376926

As per proviso to rule 4(1) and sixth proviso to rule 4(7) of cenvat credit rules (inserted w.e.f.1.9.2014), cenvat credit should be taken within six months from date of issue of any duty paying document (invoice, bill of entry, GAR-7 challan etc. as applicable).
